JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Relevant degree or professional qualifications with additional MBA or other supporting qualifications
  • Possess strong business acumen to manage business units to achieve projected revenue & profitability with effective cost management.
  • Has good connection with local authorities across nation. Prefer someone with exposure in Industrialized Building System (IBS)
  • Have understanding on integrated management system (IMS).
  • 15-20 years of relevant business management experience at senior management level.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The COO role is a key member of the senior management team. Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the successful appointee will be expected to maintain control of diverse business operations in Malaysia.
  • Direct the company in keeping with the vision outlined for the company by the Board of Directors.
  • Leader and partner with high-level officers, both internally and externally, to grow the company, strengthen it and ensure its sustainability.
  • Represent the company as required, including attendance of important functions, industry events and public meetings.
  • Work closely with the CFO to prepare annual budgets, complete risk analysis on potential investments, and advise the Board of Directors with regards to investment risk and return.
  • Work closely with Human Resources regarding hiring practices, payroll and benefit disbursement.
  • Oversee quality control throughout the company, establishing goals for each department in partnership with division managers.
  •  Ensure legal and regulatory compliance and risk management across all operational functions.
  • Ensure full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the Company/Group.
  • Contribute in operational risk management to avoid any operational and/or reputational losses to the Company/Group.
  • Liaise with all relevant government agencies and statutory bodies in relation to all related matters, ensure timely compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
  • Full authority and responsibility to execute, plan and control all works in the project and Ensure completion of projects within the time frame and budget with quality
  • Keeping abreast with all project managers together with other supporting teams to ensure standard and relevant authority requirement are fully compiled on a timely manner.
