JOB REQUIREMENTS
Accountancy Degree (hons) or other professional Accountancy qualifications. Member of MIA.
Bachelor's degree required. Prefer a Master's in Business or related degree.
Excellent working knowledge of all accounting matters, consolidated accounts and corporate matters.
Good business and practical strategic thinking and analysis skills
High integrity, leadership and dedication
Fluent in oral and written English, Bahasa Malaysia.
At least 10 years’ experience of which 5 years in senior capacity in public listed companies.
10 years minimum in an FP&A role, hands-on superior FP&A skills, highly analytical including current experience with financial modeling.
M&A experience required. At minimum having participated in M&A teams.
CPA or CMA preferred but not required. Foundational experience in public accounting
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and private equity sponsor to grow the business, provide financial and accounting acumen and business process improvement and collaborate to set strategy using business acumen and analytics.
- Take the leader role to build up yearly operation budgets and more importantly, drive the business to achieve the financial commitment of revenue, operation income and working capital.
- Act as a key business team leader during long-range strategic planning processes with specific responsibility for developing the long-range financial roadmap.
- Provide leadership to expand ROI through efficient deployment of capital investments, working capital and resources.
- Strategically partner with the NCIG team to drive profitable growth through analysis, influencing and action on pricing, new customer acquisition, new ventures, potential business acquisitions, product profitability and cost control.
- Perform market, customer and product analysis and digest internal processes to proactively identify both new opportunities and potential risks to future business performance.
- Provide independent thinking and strategic insight on financial and operational matters facing the company.
- Financial responsibilities will include: formulating and implementing financial policies, processes and controls; accounting; budgeting and forecasting; capital allocation; balance sheet management; lender relationships; corporate risk management; financial audit and treasury.
- Responsible for financial planning & analysis, annual budgeting, forecasting, KPI/dashboard management and operational analytics processes that inform the CEO and private equity sponsor on company performance in real time.
