Job Responsibilities :
- Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
- Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- To develop and implement and organization's financial goals.
- To oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks.
- To supervise cash management activities.
- To execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm's expansion.
- To handle mergers and acquisitions.
- Supervise the preparation of the annual budget.
- Monitor and control accounts receivables.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis.
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues.
- Improve profitability.
- Review prior financial results and discusses anticipated changes to highlight future needs and trends.
- Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual and budget results.
- Approve monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly and annual fair value reports.
- Prepare summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.
- To sign off Quarterly Financial Report for submission to Security Commission (Stock Exchange).
- To prepare Statutory Report based on MFRS/IFRS Accounting require.
- Must be willing to travel to Overseas for meeting or conference.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree 5 years or more experience in Accountancy and Finance, Qualified ACCA / CIMA, Business/Management, Economics; Mathematics/Statistics.
- Minimum 5 – 7 years in related field.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand Bahasa Malaysia and English Language.
