Service Desk Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • An integral part of the Managed Services and as a Single point of contact team for all authorized external clients and internal IT users.
  • Responsible for first line troubleshooting for desktop, server, network, and cloud-related incidents.
  • The daily activity involves technical diagnosis and identifying issue then resolve technical problems via phone or using in-house desktop/network support tools
  • Handling hardware RMA and Contract Administration for vendor and principle.
  • Schedule Preventive Maintenance activity with the customer and internal engineer.
  • Case follow up with customer and engineer until closure.
  • Involve in integrated Service Desk Process and operational procedures improvement.
  • Cross train with internal and other department members to cultivate maximum support skill.
  • Communicate effectively to end-user customers as well as fellow IT team members.
  • Perform incident documentation and knowledge management documentation.
  • Maintain service asset and configuration management primarily focused on maintaining information about configuration items required to deliver an IT service, including their relationships and locations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or relevant field.
  • At least 1 – 2 year(s) experience in IT Network Operation capacity or/and good understanding in the IT support operation.
  • MS Office, Ticketing tool, Manage Engine, Technically strong on OSes, Database, Network, Security, Server, Desktop and etc.
  • ITIL Best Practice is preferred but optional.
  • Event/Incident Correlation and Resolution, Service Reporting and Shift Rotation.
  • Willing to work on shift (**Might require to work on shift). The work schedule will include weekends, holidays and night shift rotations to support the needs of a 24/7 operation.
  • Able to cope under pressure.
  • Proactive, independent and understand the pressures and demands of a fast-moving, complex System Integration environment.
  • Good interpersonal and effective communication skill.
  • Intermediate level technical services with little supervision from Supervisors, Team Leads or Technology Owners.
  • Fresh graduate with good learning attitudes is encouraged to apply
