Accounting Manager cum PA to MD ( Prefer Female)

Bayan Lepas

General Purpose:

· Support the day to day work of the MD on personal and company matters

· Communicate and representing MD and his companies

· Maintain high level of integrity and secrecy

You will have access to confidential information, requiring absolute discretion at all times. Our company is a busy organization and therefore the ability to organize and prioritize tasks is a key requirement. You will have demonstrable experience of working at a similar level and proven administrative, secretarial and office skills. You will need to plan, organize anticipate requirements well in advance to support the smooth running of the business.   

You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the MD’s work including appointments and the diary, travel and accommodation as required in addition to managing dates, producing agendas, minutes and all key paperwork for meetings.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be experienced at dealing with a range of external stakeholders.

The role works across the organization to ensure that our company operates intelligently and strategically.


Reports to: MD

Subordinate staff: None

External contacts: Debtors, Creditors, Customers/Clients, Partners and Associates

Major Responsibilities/Duties:

Working with MD to:

1. Ensure statutory requirements are met and identified

2. Contribute to the overall development of company and its activities

3. Ensure necessary records are maintained that can be readily provide current, accurate and accessible information

4. Work within the framework of company’s corporate plan as a directly by the MD

5. Support the MD in the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, budgets and related activities in servicing and developing contracts and relationship with stakeholders

6. Support the MD in the preparation of all documentation required for key decision making as required

Performance Competencies and Criteria:

Working with the MD to:

· Day to day planning and organization of the MD’s diary

· Arranging travel and accommodation for the MD

· Comprehensive admiration duties in support of the MD

· Dealing with MD’s post and correspondence

· Document minutes of all meetings as directed by the MD

· Undertake MD’s mailings and communication materials as directed



Applicants must be able to demonstrable understanding, experience and ability as follows:

1. Have an understanding of the requirements and implications of working to a MD

2. IT literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, access database software etc

3. Excellent administrative and secretarial skills

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

5. Willing to travel both domestic and international alone or with MD (if required)

6. Ability to communicate in Mandarin and Chinese Dialect is an added advantageous

7. Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent

8. Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity

9. Must have hands on experience with full set of accounts and operation matters
