Job Requirements
- Review electronic component datasheet, lifecycle and change notifications and provide alternative or replacement proposal.
- Assessment of component alternatives as recommended by supplier and / or customers
- Review and approved component discrepancies at site goods-in and resolve issues with suppliers and customers
- Coordination on BOM / MPN scrub for Lifecycle, RoHS, REACH, Conflict Mineral, IMDS, CAMDS, working closely with customer, purchaser and supplier.
- Maintain integrity of Approved Manufacturers List and Item Commodity Codes in ERP System
- System BOM maintenance (create new item, upload BOM and MPN and maintenance)
Knowledge: Formal education and work experience
- Degree in a related discipline (Electronics/Component Engineering)
- At least two years experience in a Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) environment
- Experience in Electronic manufacturing process is an added advantage
- Experience in Electronic R&D is an added advantage
Skills: Practical/Specialist skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Advance Excel
- BOM comparison

- High Level of organisational skills and attention to detail

- Can work independently with minimum guidance
