PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Strong knowledge and understanding of SAP technologies and methodologies
Good knowledge and understanding of new dimensional SAP products, technologies and methodologies (S/4HANA , IOT, BIGDATA , Machine Learning )
Experience of leading large Upgrades, OS/DB migrations (S/4HANA system conversion, Implementation and blueprinting skills are a big plus)
Provide technical product expertise, consulting support to SAP customer
Ability to assist team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions (implementations, upgrades and Migrations).
Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction in addition to growing and developing reference able customers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.
Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.
A record of taking initiatives, driving results and accepting increasing levels of responsibility.
Build credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuous professional learning of SAP products.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelors or Master’s degree in: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or similar degree.
Must be able to work as a team player, yet have the ability to work independently.
Analytical, results-driven and have a solution oriented approach.
Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening.
Must be open to travel.
Certification in SAP (Core , HANA , OSDB – or a combination of these )
Technical Skills:
Strong in fundamentals and hands on experience on SAP implementations, complex Upgrades and large database migrations
Solution Manager 7.1 / 7.2 upgrades and configuration knowledge
Experience in working with SAP Applications viz. SAP ERP, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, SAP SRM, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Portal, SAP PI/PO, SAP BW, SAP BO, SAP Net Weaver etc.(Combinations of these )
Working knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux, Os/400, etc.)
Technical skills in SQL, Database (SQL) knowledge, database management, business intelligence, enterprise performance management, data mining, systems administration.
Good working knowledge of relational databases like HANA, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, MaxDB, DB2 etc.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience and at least last three 3 years as project lead in SAP core platform technology areas. (No application support projects during this period)
