The Sales Development function is a customer-facing (cold calling) role responsible for engaging with potential Cloud prospects to identify sales opportunities and achieve a personal and team pipeline target.
You will play a key role in driving pipeline by prospecting through a combination strategic reach outs and leveraging marketing activities.
Regular activities in this role include:
- Cold calling to C level decision makers, building quick rapport and assessing needs.
- This role will require a strong fundamental understanding of Cloud Platform
- Strong team player and communication skills to continue personal growth and team development.
- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and other cross functional Cloud stakeholders to identify opportunities
- Helping prospects understand, get excited and engage with the Cloud team to evaluate the products and services offered.
- Clearly articulate solutions & value into meaningful conversations with targeted prospects
- Defining a prospecting strategic plan with vertical / market prioritization
