Job Responsibility
  • General Summary:
    • Manage all communications and public relation matters involving the Executive Chairman
    • Manage all Executive Chairman-related digital/social media assets & channels
    • Conceptualize and implement profiling strategy and plan for the Executive Chairman
  • Project management and editorial tasks
    • Conceptualise and execute profiling and PR plan for EC based on strategy
    • Manage all the EC’s Personal Publicity as well as QI-related Publicity (where applicable)
    • Update all platforms with relevant content through Content Management Systems - including dissemination to all required parties as per SOP.
    • Plan and manage all special projects involving the Executive Chairman - from beginning till end.
    • Research, write/edit and distribute all press releases involving the Executive Chairman, to targeted media.
    • Gather content, analyse and research specific topics for the Executive Chairman.
    • Write blog posts, contributor pieces, commentary and other content as needed for the EC and EC’s office.
    • Manage all the special engagements of the EC
    • Other projects as assigned for the group
  • Social Media
    • Manage campaigns, content and day-to-day updates on all the Chairman's Social Media channels and digital assets as assigned (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Official website, TOD/Aweber and other additional channels when required) including:
    • Curate relevant content to reach the ideal target audience
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating engagement & advocacy.
    • Oversee design of assigned channels (e.g: timeline covers, profile pics, thumbnails, ads, etc).
    • Design, create and manage Social ad campaigns.
    • Reporting and results tracking
    • Work closely with the Social Media manager to analyse campaigns and translate data into recommendations and plans for improvement.
    • Oversee or handle special projects as assigned.
    • Work with third party vendors when necessary
  • Administration/Ad-Hoc
    • Creation and dissemination of weekly reports and updates.
    • Paperwork and documentation for Chairman-related tasks.
    • Support the team with other relevant projects, where necessary.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations/Journalism/Marketing Communications or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Communications function. Experience in Event management & administrative skills are added advantages
  • Excellent background in English copywriting (persuasive writing ability is a must)
  • Language competence: Excellent level of spoken and written English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Skills in MS Office, any additional knowledge with web-application: CMS/Wordpress/Project Planner etc will be an added advantage
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks and projects whilst maintaining an attention to detail at all time
  • Initiative and strong sense of ownership and responsibility are necessary
  • Leadership abilities and exceptional organisational skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to take directions and instructions to execute a task, as well as the initiative to develop independent strategies and projects
