IFM Solutions Development Assistant Manager (based in Penang)

Accountabilities:-

  • Respond to formal RFI, RFP, RFQ, etc which entails data collection, writing responses, pricing, presentation etc – for Indonesia bids, act as main lead / for regional bids, act as main coordination points
  • Lead presentations to clients and work with teams to develop presentation slides
  • Pricing: lead the team in coming up with competitive pricing including (1) pricing up of JLL teams, technology cost, etc, (2) work with procurement team/vendors to get quotations, analyze vendor quotations and negotiate with vendors and (3) financial modeling address various pricing models (Principal vs Agent, Fixed, Warranted, Reimbursable, Cost Plus, etc)
  • Drive Go/No Go, KIA and Win/Loss Debrief processes for Indonesia
  • Work with Regional BD Team to build best practices collaterals (key statistics, graphic development, proposal baseline and presentation baseline) – share these with teams to help in BD efforts
  • Work with Procurement team and Operations team to develop Benchmarks for operating spend; update half yearly
  • Participate in Due Diligence and actively take on specific roles (e.g. finance, administration, soft services, etc) 
  • Stay involved in Transition until all information from deal has been passed on 
  • Reporting – on new business financials, prospect activities, etc for weekly IFM meeting, SAM/RAM and any others   
  • Monthly Client First calls – get prospects status and key information and inform Regional BD team during the call 
  • Pipeline – actively source for Suspect and move from Suspect to Prospect 

Key Result Areas:-

  • Xx$$$ of new business won
  • Develop a strong understanding of the IFM business (concept, operating model, key competitors, strengths and weaknesses, key vendors, etc)
  • Be able to lead the RFI and/or RFP process working with operation team, procurement team and client
  • Be able to present about IFM capabilities in front of client
  • Pricing – accurate, analytical, easy-to-understand and innovative
  • Timely delivery of required reports
  • Accuracy and quality of work product
  • Pro-actively coordinate and assist in leading projects independently and resourcefully
  • Highly numerate with a strong aptitude for financial analysis
  • Develop strong following years ‘pipeline at least with a time and risk adjustment of 2 times the potential target of following year

Required Qualifications & Experience:-

  • Assistant Manager
  • FM, Financial or Engineering background
  • Highly numerate with a strong aptitude for financial analysis
  • Meticulous and detailed orientated
  • Independent worker but also works well in teams 
  • Sales experience will be a plus point
  • Past experiences should be in FM or related industry 
  • Increase awareness of and promote effective knowledge management
  • Good written/spoken English
  • Strong excel and power point skills
  • Ability to manage stress and tight timeframe
