Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the **Senior Project Manager** has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, leading the design, planning, testing and implementation of production line re-layout, automation and improvement projects for the sites. He / She is responsible to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope following the IIM / CQV processes and in compliance with Mondelez / local regulatory safety, quality and environmental standard requirements. He / She is expected to work closely with project team members focusing on meeting project commitments with while maintaining good communications with project sponsors and stakeholders.
**Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):**
**Effective management of assigned capital expenditure projects including control, planning, scheduling and coordination of assigned project works and related activities**

+ Capable of aligning business goals with engineering strategies and priorities.
+ Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
+ Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
+ Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates
+ Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
+ Lead and deliver all capital projects according to the expenditure budget and agreed timelines. Forecast capital spending according to project execution timeline. Ensure project implemented following IIM / CQV methodology to meet expected technical performances, cost-saving targets, Mondelez Quality/EOHS policies and standards which is in line with Mondelez global policies, engineering standard and best practices.
+ Manage internal and external resources and directs project works to achieve quality, safety and cost effective management of projects
+ Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Ensure all project executions are in compliance with all relevant federal, State & local Government legislative requirements
+ Actively leading project discussion working with cross functional team during the course of project implementation
+ Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
+ Ensure each project completed with proper project handover to customers with full project documentation and copy of document stored and filed in department central repository
+ Compilation of equipment specifications into a single library to provide a central reference database for future equipment purchases as well as risk management.
+ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
**Business partner to BD, R&D and ISC**

+ Support R&D, BD, operation, process improvement team in commercialization of new products and improved production processes.
+ Recommend improvements and changes to processes applying industry best practices and step change solutions
**Provide support to project owners in the area of preparing capital appropriation request (CAR) documents**

+ Provide technical design solutions/proposals and assist project owners to define project work scope and obtain quotations.
+ Assist project owner in preparing capital appropriation request documents
+ Work with project owners and finance team to prepare justify for profit enhancing projects
**Ensure project implemented in compliance with Mondelez Quality, EOHS policies and standard procedures, site safety rules, including training and communicating with contractors.**

**Do you have what it takes?**
**Technical / Functional skills:**

+ A university degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
+ At least 10 years working experience in engineering projects related role.
+ At least 6 – 8 years working experience in handling manufacturing capital expenditure projects
+ Experience in food and ideally confectionary engineering
+ Good written and verbal communication
