NGOhub is an online and offline platform dedicated to enabling, empowering, and serving changemakers.
We champion effectiveness, transparency, and sustainability, and we connect NGOs and social organisations to information, resources, experts, volunteers, and grants.
Transforming the non-profit sector in Malaysia by:
- Equipping NGOs and changemakers with leadership and advocacy skills and resources to achieve sustainability and more impact,

GivingHub
GivingHub is a platform with a mission to help the public and organisations give to charitable causes more effectively.
We provide tools, information, and expertise to help guide charitable giving and philanthropy to the most effective causes.
We utilise the experience in our nonprofit arm, NGOhub, and the principles of effective philanthropy to guide our programs and services.

Job Role:
Communications Intern
Vacancy: 1 Position - May 2026 Onwards (minimum 3 months period)
Job Description:
- Assist in planning, writing, and managing social media presence, including daily monitoring, posting, scheduling, and reporting updates.
- Produce copy for collateral that is clear, engaging, and reflective of the organization's voice.
- Support collateral conceptualization and creativity based on given requirements or direction.
- Assist in social media and marketing collateral production, with a specific focus on graphic design (e.g., creating social media posters/ads and short videos).
- Provide input for creative marketing strategies and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team on new ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications.
- Design event/program fliers, graphics, and other marketing material.
- Create online advertisements as needed.
Selection Criteria:
- Interest in strategic communications, and a strong willingness to learn and explore new things.
- Good knowledge and skill in using creative tools to produce engaging collaterals, and having editing and graphic design skills is a plus point.
- Able to express voice and ideas for organization and team growth.
- Able to ideate and brainstorm independently and within the team, and swift to deliver good quality work.
- Being able to use feedback to improve outcomes is a plus point.
- Eye for detail with the ability to proofread and edit accordingly.
- Good command of English, Bahasa Melayu, and/or any other additional language.
- Passionate about creative writing.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Interns are expected to assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned and/or required.
