What you do

  • Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing them with wealth management solutions and advice
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that meet our clients' objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and goals
  • Collaborate with our team of experts, including investment specialists and financial planners
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, providing insights and advice to our clients

Who you are

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as finance or economics
  • At least 5 years of experience in wealth management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of investment products and wealth management strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • A strong understanding of the financial services industry and market trends
  • A professional certification, such as CFP or CFA, is desirable

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Advisory Support

  • Provide need-based bancassurance advisory to customers, ensuring insurance solutions align with their financial goals and risk profiles.
  • Support RMs in closing insurance sales through joint sales efforts and direct sales closure.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end direct sales closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
  • Drive monthly bancassurance participation rates and other productivity metrics to achieve or exceed the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set forth in the “Achieving Performance Excellence (APEX)” framework.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as RMs and branch teams, along with insurance service providers, to coordinate and support sales, service, client events, and marketing activities.
  • Provide training and coaching to RMs to enhance their insurance knowledge and selling skills.
  • Maintain awareness of potential risks in the sales process and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Fulfill industry licensing requirements and maintain valid certifications for all products sold.

Customer Service and Issue Resolution

  • Assist in handling client inquiries, complaints, and resolving issues related to insurance products promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships through effective communication and service excellence.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with internal policies, sales governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all sales transactions in accordance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold the Bank’s values and ethical standards in all sales conduct, advisory services, and engagement with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance sales, banking, or investment industries with proven sales performance.
  • Possession of necessary and relevant insurance licenses and certifications.
  • Strong commitment and ability to consistently drive sales results with a results-driven and proactive attitude towards achieving targets and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong advisory approach.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined team player capable of working independently and collaboratively across functions and with multiple stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and adherence to compliance and governance standards.
  • Willingness to travel within the base state and other locations across Malaysia as required.
