We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop financial strategies that align with our business goals.

💼 Role: Chief Financial Officer

The Group CFO will lead the financial strategy, management, and overall control of the Group to achieve its long-term strategic plans. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Financial Leadership:Oversee the Group's financial strategy, financial planning, budgetary control, financial projections, and policy development.

• Regulatory Compliance:Ensure total compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, MFRS, and tax legislation.

• Systems & Internal Controls:Direct and implement financial and accounting systems, policies, and procedures that support sound internal controls and strong commercial management.

• Corporate Governance & Audits:Partner with the Audit Committee regarding quarterly announcements and control/compliance matters.Act as the primary liaison for Company Secretaries, Internal/External Auditors, Tax Agents, Bankers, and Government bodies.

• Treasury & Capital Management:Monitor and review cash and banking management, banking facilities, foreign exchange exposure, and working capital optimization.

• M&A and Investments:Undertake financial review and planning for new projects and investments.Serve as the project lead for due diligence exercises, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate restructuring.
  
  

• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business OR a professional Accounting qualification such as MICPA, ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW.

• Must be a registered member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
  
  

• PLC/MNC Track Record:At least 10 years of experience in a large Public Listed Company (PLC) or Multinational Corporation (MNC).

• Seniority:Minimum of 5 years holding a senior finance position.Prior experience acting as a Chief Financial Officer or Deputy Chief Financial Officer within a PLC environment is highly preferred.

• Audit Foundation:A background or foundational experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is considered a strong advantage.
  
  

• Complete fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Mandarin/Chinese Literacy: Must have strong Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing capabilities to communicate effectively with regional business units and stakeholders.
  
  

• Thoroughly familiar with Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Securities Commission Rules & Regulations, and the Companies Act.

• A proactive leader with sharp commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.

• A strong team player with good interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across all levels of management within a diversified corporate structure.
