Job Description
Job Responsibilities :
- Good understanding and experience in of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC or AGILE)
- Able to understand and deliver the assignment
- Able to work independently and have a keen eye on details.
- Resourceful team player, who can work on multiple assignments, with minimal guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Curious person with strong problem solving & analytical skills.
- Results-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
Technical Skills
- At least 3 years of Technical Skills: Data Lake, EDW, Data marts, Data Integration, UNIX scripting
- Expertise in Cloudera CDH / CDP components
- Support Development & SIT investigations
- Support in UAT testing – responsible to investigate the issues raised in UAT, and to co-ordinate with users during the UAT phase for all techno-functional queries. Expertise in implementing Teradata based EDW and Data mart solution using ETL tool such as (Informatica Power Centre, BDM), GCFR based framework, BTEQ scripts)
- Expertise in implementing Hadoop based Data mart using Spark based framework (Java, Scala, Pyspark)
- Good knowledge and working experience in developing SQL script
- Knowledge and working experience in of Hadoop languages & tools – Spark, Python, R, Pig, Hue, Impala, Hive, Hbase, Informatica would be an advantage
- Good knowledge in developing Spark based ingestion framework (Java, Scala, Pyspark)
- Exposure to financial services data models & data modeling tools and data governance processes would be an advantage
