Description
- Oversee and manage the accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and invoicing discrepancies effectively.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts payable accounts and manage month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and present financial reports related to accounts payable to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounts payable operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts payable team to achieve departmental goals.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Profile
A Successful AP Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- 12 years of experience in accounts payable processes and financial regulations within Shared Services.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
