Job Description
- Design, implement, and manage IP security solutions to safeguard network infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and mitigate security threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system security policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Respond to and resolve security incidents promptly to minimize impact on operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in IP security.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for security systems and protocols.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on security measures and protocols.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful IP Security Engineer Should Have
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IP security protocols and network technologies.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting network traffic and security logs.
- Certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or equivalent would be advantageous.
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
