Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure works are carried out according to contract requirements, quality standards, and cost controls.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to electrical safety regulations.
Support the daily operations of facility electrical systems, ensuring reliable performance and optimal energy usage.
Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment and systems.
Monitor electrical equipment performance, identify faults, and escalate critical issues to the Facility Manager with appropriate technical reports.
Respond to facility electrical issues and support emergency breakdown situations when required.
Prepare and submit operational and technical reports, including maintenance and PPM summaries.
Assist in coordinating internal meetings, preparing reports, and supporting operational documentation.
Support audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
Assist in procurement processes including purchase requisitions, and verify utility consumption records where required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or electrical operations.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and building services operations.
Familiar with preventive maintenance planning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Knowledge of energy management practices and green building initiatives such as Green Building Index (GBI) is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience using maintenance management systems or ERP systems such as Oracle is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors and internal teams.
Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Remark: The contract is for 2-year and is renewable subject to management approval.
