Role Summary
Responsible for leading shift operations and ensuring the safe, reliable operation of data centre critical infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise shift technicians
- Operate and monitor critical systems (power, cooling, UPS, generators)
- Act as Authorized Person under A4 Chargeman responsibilities
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and outages
- Carry out switching, isolation, and permit-to-work activities
- Coordinate contractors and maintenance works
- Maintain shift logs and handover reports
Requirements
- Diploma holder and above in engineering field
- 3 years or more experience in a similar role within a data centre or critical environment
- A4 Electrical Chargeman Certificate (mandatory)
- Strong electrical knowledge and leadership skills
- Comfortable working rotating shifts (including nights/weekends)
