Job Description

  • Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery dates, and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain and update the purchasing database and records (e.g., supplier information, pricing, delivery schedules)
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and escalate delays or issues when necessary

Job Requirement

  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required when dealing with supplier
  • Able to communicate using basic English and Bahasa Melayu
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated & independence
