Culture's Okay, But It's a Big Ship
Intel has a strong presence in the semiconductor industry, offering stable employment for many. The culture is a mix; you'll find brilliant people but also a lot of corporate bureaucracy. Innovation can sometimes feel stifled by process.
As a Software Engineer, I've met some really smart people here. Teams are generally supportive, and there's a lot of deep technical knowledge sharing within this big tech environment. It's rewarding to contribute to the semiconductor industry.
The company culture can feel really slow sometimes. Decisions take ages, and there's a lot of red tape, especially if you're working in the Santa Clara office. It's hard to be agile and move fast when you're this corporate.
Please try to cut down on the bureaucracy. Empower teams more to make quicker decisions on engineering projects. This would really help foster innovation and speed things up across the company.
