Duties & Responsibilities 

Programme Management

Project planning, develop value propositions and implement the development of DE Rantau programme:

• Plan and implement the programme, focusing on promoting and engaging active participation of the targeted communities and platforms/ digital service providers.
• Facilitate and participate in engagements with the public & private sectors and general public in creating value add propositions to the target communities and market.

Strategy 1: Development of DE Rantau Hubs in selected locations

• Plan and implement the development of DE Rantau Hubs at selected locations, working closely and consistently with the relevant state/ local councils/ relevant ministries and agencies. This include coordinating awareness/ briefing, onboarding and various networking sessions to ensure high participation by the target communities i.e. accommodation owners and providers including hotels, homestays, resorts, chalets etc.

Strategy 2: Development of DE Rantau Ecosystem Services

• Assist with the planning and implementation of various digital and platform service providers based on the respective service sectors which will help supplement the livelihood of digital nomads, DE Rantau Hubs and the businesses in the selected DE Rantau locations.
• Assist with the development and revision of criteria and value propositions for DE Rantau Ecosystem Services and facilitate the selection process of DE Rantau Ecosystem Services Partners.

Procurement

• Oversight and management of Long Lead Equipment Procurement Process with Contractor to ensure compliance to Client requirements
• Facilitate Meetings between Contractor and Client stakeholders, including Design team to support LLE Procurement Process, including follow up with respective stakeholders for their input

Key Role Statement

• The vendor Contracts Manager is a support role to the Client Project Manager and Client Contracts Manager providing project supports in the areas of supply chain management, contract services and equipment procurement, contract execution and contracts management. The Vendor Contracts Manager will be an extension of the Client Contracts Manager to provide the tactical project execution reporting to the Client Contracts Manager.
• Support the Sourcing & Procurement of GC’s, AE’s, Commissioning Agents, QA/QC, LLE, PM, Project Controls and Site Selection Due Diligence services. Also support any other “goods” and “service” needed by the project that is paid out of the capital project (specialist consultants).

• Develop and update Control Checklist, Training Materials and Business Process Manuals as and when new enhancement is identified, implemented and communicated for the current process and workflow to ensure continuity in the team

• People Management

• Assist Record Report Manager for recruiting, hiring and development of Associates/Senior Associates and interns
• Conduct Team Meeting and One to One meeting with direct report
• Provide regular performance feedback to direct report
• Recommend training and support job rotation for direct report
• Assist and supports the change initiative during transformation, anticipate problems and manage multiple deadlines
• Team mentorship, leadership, motivation and coaching
• Ensure all the tasks (OT submission and leaves applications) in Workday and reimbursement claims in Concur are approved timely.

• Others:

• Review and posting fund Transfer and Dividend payment entries prepared by Associate/Specialist
• Manage day-to-day general accounting and reporting activities including liaison with personnel from various department and business partner.
• Ensure procedures adhered to and controls are documented accordingly
• Perform monthly financial close activities, ensure meeting SLA and deadlines
• Review or perform UAT as and when required
• Assist Manager, Record to Report on other projects and matters as and when required

Operational Risk / Control Improvement Review

• Assist BU Investment CIO / AMC CEO to monitor Standard, Policy and Procedure implementation so as to compliant with Group Investment Governance Framework and local requirements.
• Assist BU / AMC Investment on operational risk (Risk & Control Assessment) management and assessment such as risk and control for fund platforms, private assets, derivatives, investment services etc.
• Facilitate the roll-out and delivery of the e-GRC system control automation.
• Champion the risk governance delivery within BU/ AMC by adopting the Operational risk framework in assessing business operations and processes, identifying risk/ issues; provide monitoring for gaps and findings including reporting.

Service Vendor Management

• Evaluate and implement outsourcing options that align to the desired systems and services of the business, driving its systems and processes requirements.
• Analyzes and reports on third party service vendor performance, such as custody and fund administration service providers
• Manages the service level reviews and periodic Steering Committee meetings with strategic service vendors and ensures that their performance meets the organization's requirements 
• Facilitate the third-party risk management review assessment in compliance to the outsourcing risk framework, policies and procedures documented through the Investment Governance framework.
• Provide advisory on vendor management risk related matters such as breach reporting, SLA non-compliance, incident management etc

Innovation and Business Process Advisory

• Provide SME or project management expertise in AIA Investment Projects
• Coordinate and act as Investment representative (user lead) in cross-functional and cross entities projects involving multiple business processes.
• Lead and deliver process and control automation initiatives.

The primary role of the business analyst is to liaise with stakeholders in Group Treasury, Business Units and the Project Taurus PMO to define and deliver requirements, options analysis and plans to support the development and implementation of liquidity analytics and associate infrastructure in accordance with the Project Taurus delivery plan.

1. Elicit, analyse and articulate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the delivery of Treasury solutions, applying the appropriate data, analytics, technology and tools.

2. Collaborate with Group Treasury key stakeholders to review, capture and validate 'as is' and 'to be' Treasury operations matters in support of delivery of business and technology solutions and to drive change and transformation.

3. Gather and document user requirements, ensuring they are clear and concise with refined acceptance criteria and are well understood and agreed with by the Project Taurus PMO.

4. Provide support with respect to the preparation of business cases or other project-related documentation, in collaboration with Group Treasury and Business Units.

5. Engage and collaborate with Group Treasury and the Project Taurus PMO to understand the desired business / project objectives and outcomes to deliver the desired end-user experience to support such objectives and outcomes and drive change and transformation to processes (including governance), data and technology.

6. Perform analysis with respect to processes, systems, data, impact and dependencies as required to ensure successful project delivery.

7. Facilitate and participate within planning of project deliverables including but not limited to those relating to data conversion and user acceptance testing.

8. Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically and as assigned by management.
