Responsibilities:

Plan and execute the implementation, completion, accuracy and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly activities for performance reporting, budgeting, budgetary control, and compliance to applicable accounting standards, Client accounting policies and procedures, governance framework/Limits of Authority (LOA) and Client Group reporting requirements and other applicable regulatory requirements for the purpose of submission to Finance at Business for presentation to the management, Leadership Team, and Board of Directors in order to ensure comprehensive, insightful and timely report for stakeholder’s information and decision making.

• Year End Projection - Plan and execute the production and consolidation of Year End Projection
• Advisory and Budgetary Control - Plan and execute the required activities in providing advisory and support to in the areas of Management Reporting & Budgeting
• Product Costing - Plan and execute the development, implementation and production of the respective product costing by developing and maintaining standard product costs and product costing model.

 

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information System, Information Technology, Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in deep functional operations within one or more Finance functions (qualified managerial candidates may be considered for Manager)
• Experience in SAP system implementation and business process transformation is an added advantage
• Proficiency with basic MS applications ie. Word, Excel and Powerpoint

JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Program Manager I serves as a point of contact for Supply Chain activities for assigned design initiatives. This role, in conjunction with other assigned SCPM's, is responsible for the Supply Chain deliverables identified in the Product Creation Process (PCP). This position includes situational analysis, strategy development, guidance and implementation for the functional disciplines of supply chain development, procurement, and logistics. These strategies should support the individual program's needs and be complementary to Jabil's overall Supply Chain Management goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Responsible for Supply Chain deliverables identified in the Product Creation Process (PCP)
·         Performs situational analysis, strategy development, guidance and implementation for the functional disciplines of supply chain development, procurement, and logistics
·         Performs Design For Manufacturability (DFM) reviews prior to design release for a variety of custom engineered applications.
·         Performs cost estimating on a variety of custom engineered materials (sheet metal, stage/progressive die, machining, plastic injected molded) along with estimating applicable tool costs.
·         In collaboration with mechanical design engineers, assists in determining the most cost effective manufacturing process for a variety of custom mechanical applications.
·         Assists with on-site supplier evaluations to determine supplier manufacturing capability to support various custom mechanical manufacturing processes.
·         Supports coordination of Supply Chain activities for all phases of PCP execution.
·         Maintains the periodic materials quotation activities for relative Commodities and assists in executing the RFQ as appropriate for the program.
·         Helps identify and facilitate the qualification of new, alternate and/or localized suppliers for key applicable needs relative to program requirements
·         Assists with negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms, and advanced supply chain optimization programs such as supplier-owned inventory, Just-in-Time delivery schedules, reduced lead times and cancellation terms, return privileges, and EDI/SIS demand communication with key suppliers falling outside JABIL'S strategic supplier base
·         In collaboration with Commodity Management, assists with managing the effort to obtain full commodity and sourcing control of BOM and AVL in the design phase
·         Through early design involvement and qualification of alternate suppliers on existing products, promotes the use of Jabil's Strategic Suppliers
·         Executes Jabil's Early Supplier Involvement program
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Advisor, Global Supply Management, you will take charge of global supply planning for specific platforms and commodity areas. Focused on business goals and objectives, we take the lead in supplier selection, product delivery specifications and quality. We succeed through our ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with global internal and external supply chain partners.

You will:

• COS Management; Responsible for commodity continuity of supply

• Acts as a single point of contact for all commodity related demand and supply issues/ requirements. Interfaces with Demand Planning organization to gather commodity demand requirements and trends. In case of demand pushouts or pull-in, lead discussions with Demand Planning and other internal stakeholders to determine the best course of action on supplier commits

• Coordinates with Global Commodity Managers to drive the commodity COS strategy

• Works with the supplier to negotiate the lead time and other supply requirements, and communicates the supply plan to internal stakeholders

• 8 to 12 years relevant experience

• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese

• Excellent understanding of global supply chain, demand and supply dynamics, and production planning

• Deep market knowledge, as well as a sound understanding of business goals and current industry trends

What you’ll achieve
As an Accounting Analyst, you will resolve financial support issues and inquiries from both internal and external customers and work with relevant non-accounting personnel in reviewing contracts to confirm company policies are adhered to and financial reporting requirements of the company are met.
You will:
• Prepare and review cash flow, income and balance sheet statements plus provide record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions
• Setup processes that accurately trace, capture and report Account receivables
• Research system improvements to increase department efficiency and accuracy
• Complete all required month-end accounting close activities including reconciliations, analysis and reporting within deadlines
• Coordinate, develop, issue, review and update business unit accounting and operating policies
