Job Purpose: 

The Audit Manager (Business Audit) independently performs and manages business audits across all entities and lines of business in the AZAP region, drives audit regionalisation projects, and supports entities in reaching Technical and Customer Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involve in auditing business areas, in addition to in-depth knowledge and experience in several business areas
• Plans and executes business audits; leads and coaches audit teams and leads discussions with auditees and senior management during audit kick-off and closing meetings; drives the preparation of closing meeting presentations and final audit reports including management feedback.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree,  preferably in a business discipline such as accounting, finance, or management.
• Relevant certifications, for example, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Public Accountant, would be an added advantage.
• 5-7 years (for AM) and 7-10 years (for Manager) of internal/external audit experience,  preferably in the financial institution sector. Prior experience in insurance will be an advantage.

Key Requirements

The Audit Manager is responsible to Performing audits in the Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) region and be the data analytics champion.

You'll be responsible for:

• Audit managers are responsible for the planning and the execution of audits. They are also expected to lead closing meetings with auditees and senior management, including finalisation of audit report with management feedback.
• As managers, they are expected to lead and guide the audit team during audits and in the execution of projects relating to the regional harmonisation of the internal audit function.

Requirement

Essential Duty and Responsibilities include the followings :-

• Monitoring, benchmark, evaluate and analysis of economy, industry, technology and company-specific trends / events to deliver actionable insights to senior management leveraging on intimate working knowledge of the sector.
• Undertake research, financial modeling and valuation for investment projects, investee companies, peer groups, industries, etc.
• Evaluating investment opportunities from various perspectives, e.g. cashflows, financials, synergies, strategic positioning, etc.
• Manage projects / transactions to completion including investment appraisal, due diligence, structuring and documentation.
• Partners with various business teams and stakeholders in achieving the above objectives.
• Provides financial management and support to the business, advancing overall financial goals and objectives.
• Leading ad hoc financial analyses in order to assist management in the evaluation of the cashflows, profitability of income streams as well as the potential for cost efficiencies.
• Provides advice to investee companies financially related issues
• Any other duties delegated at anytime by the immediate superior
