Responsibilities:

1. Organize and implement the Quality Control Plan on the incoming, raw material, in process and finished goods.
2. To report the process non-conformance, perform root cause analysis and liaise with Production to resolve problem.
3. Responsible to customer complaint and follow up corrective and preventive actions.
4. To train new QC assistant and relevant personnel on quality procedure and testing methods.
5. To perform inspection on Incoming material, in process product, finished goods and goods before delivery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the R&D department in all research and development of new products and existing products; food & beverages categories (dairy, juices, food supplements and others).

Job Responsibilities

Manage and supervise a team of QA/QC personnel to work in accordance to established QMS requirements, initiate improvement activities, and ensure that products are manufactured to Client, Company and industrial specifications.

A)    Quality Assurance

• Establish Inspection & Test Plan to client specifications, API 6A/6D/6DSS and ASME/ASTM standards.
• Develop project specific documentations such as NDT procedures, project quality plan, inspection/welding procedures, etc. for submission at the start of a project.
• Participate in project strategy/kick off meetings with customers/internal staff to agree and confirm quality requirements to specifications.
• Lead investigation to determine root cause on product failure due to internal manufacturing/supplier non conformance and customer complaints/field failures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to come out with corrective/improvement actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues. 
• Support the welding engineer in the review of WPS/PQR and welding quality control.
• Take part in pre-inspection (PIM) meeting with customer to confirm compliance to project requirements and agreement on inspection points.
• Organise third party inspections to ensure independent inspection, witness and documentation reviews are implemented as per ITP requirements. 
• Review raw materials test certificates to check for compliance to ITP/PO requirements.
• Ensure that Manufacturing Data Books are compiled in time on completion of a project.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues related to the project/PO.
• Support Sales team in tender review/clarifications on quality matters during bidding/tendering stage.
• Work with other departments to establish/improve QMS procedures and work instructions to enhance products and processes.
• Report recurring quality issues/trends to Management, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Support the VP QHSE in QMS/ISO9001/API audit and process improvement.

A)    Quality Control

Supervise and work with the QC team to ensure product compliance:

• Receiving, in-process and final inspections & tests are carried out.
• Dimension checks are verified that machining was done to specifications.
• NDT are carried out to check for product defects.
• NCR are raised for any product non conformances or components rejects
• Communicate with suppliers to improve product quality.
• Data analyses are carried out to look for non-conformance trends. 
• Raw materials are procured to ITP requirements
• Equipment/tools are calibrated according to defined frequency.

B)     Others

• Guide and train QAQC staff work correctly to QAQC methodology and systems.
• Identify QAQC bottlenecks and initiate actions for improvement.
• Ensure QAQC staffs are trained and work in compliance and safely to Quality & HSE policies and procedures
