The day-to-day activities:

• Leads sourcing efforts beginning with spend analysis through contract execution

Job Description

• To follow up on the purchase of raw material and supervise on perform DRC analysis.
• To supervise the sampling for raw materials for correct DRC reporting.
• Sourcing of new local cup lump raw material suppliers & coordination with existing raw material suppliers.
• Maintain a tracking discounts & strategy system for management understanding, review & analysis.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Management or immediate superior from time to time. 
• To ensure correct DRC reporting by each receiving.
• To communicate and reporting with Plant manager for delivery by suppliers on DRC performance.

BROAD FUNCTION:

Roles Overview:

• The Warehouse Process Specialist, reporting to the Operations Director, is responsible for delivering operational excellence in shipment fulfilment, ensuring costs, internal metrics, safety, and customer delivery measures are met within the warehouse. He/she is responsible for delivering continuous improvement programs, such as increasing efficiency, maintaining shipment accuracy, system, and process improvements, improving service, and building team capabilities. He/she should be a strong 'people' manager with experience in warehousing, SAP, and logistics, and can initiate and lead inclusive change programs (example: re-design warehouse). The role requires the ability to motivate, lead, and challenge existing processes, as the organization seeks continuous change and growth plans. The Warehouse Process Specialist will encompass aspects of warehousing, Kanban support, project, and change management, and must be highly driven, energetic, and ambitious. He/she will also be responsible for deputation for the Operations Director and working closely with the Inside sales team, purchasing, and other key departments.

BROAD FUNCTION:

• To ensure all products are loaded and organized into the respecting loading and storage area within the set time frame .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To operate forklifts or other hand truck to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas.
• Performing routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working of forklift equipment.
• Receiving, Loading or unloading materials manually, off or on to pallets. Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods. Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.

1. On Admin matters:

• Provide administrative support to the sales team.

JOB SUMMARY :

• Manage procurement activities & schedule from material to finished goods.
• Coordinate between supplier & NPD, QAQC, Marketing team to resolve issues related to material or finished goods.  
• Manage supplier to ensures goods purchased are produced in a cost-effective way that meet quality specifications.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Data analysis skill and propose options in support raw material supply and finished good demand.
• Responsible to update the production schedules and reviewing it on a daily basis to prioritize job orders for production optimization; follow-up with all teams to expedite flow of materials and document to meet production schedule and inventory and marketing expectation.
• Update the production planning schedule and complete the status reports for production progress, work in process and raw material inventory.
• Work closely with respective department/ personnel to ensure that PSS, TC, COA, QC release, payment are on tract and delivered as planned.
• Liaise with supplier / vendor on out sources service / fabrication and keep track of the delivery schedule.
• Monitor and follow up closely on production yield and production related reports.
• Source, evaluate and select new supplier both local & overseas in accordance with the company requirement and guidelines.
• Monitor cost fluctuation, cost negotiation & service performance of supplier.
• Coordinate and forecast purchase of raw materials or parts according to production schedule and inventory needs.
• To perform other Ad¬ hoc duties / request from time to time.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT :

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and with SAP knowledge will be added advantages..
• Good knowledge in shipping, logistics, procurement and inventory planning will be added advantage.
