Purpose of the Job
The Executive Assistant to CEO is responsible for providing comprehensive executive and administrative support to CEO in managing the organization’s office operations. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Forward plan and effectively priotise workflow and calendar management for CEO
- Liase and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of CEO
- Foster strong interpersonal, oral and written communication/relationships at all levels, including with external stakeholders, executive team and Board members
- Provide high level administrative and communication support on behalf of CEO
- Provide support for Governance related affairs including liasing with internal and external stakeholders, Board secretarial duties
- Oversee all logistics support of Board related meetings and events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ executive support experience
- Previous experience working with development and fundraising programs to increase contributions and funding sources an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with Executive team and Board members
- Ability to work independently and with professional discretion
- Experienced strategic thinker with ability to find solutions and opportunities to best support the CEO, Executive team, Board and organisation.
