Reporting to the Group General Manager

Operations in the role as Production Manager and has the following responsibilities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Total Operations Management (Production, Maintenance, QC and Operations administration) at Skudai Facility. 
• Delegation of daily tasks to Operations Staff and Sub-contractors.

Operations: 

• To lead/conduct daily Tool box meeting. 

Production: 

• To ensure all assets are in serviceable conditions and certificates updated. 
• In-charge Quad and Lifting sling allocation, production/manpower schedule. 
• Manage of filling of gases following pre and post filling processes according to ISO procedures. 
• Manage and support gas analytical certification processes. Manage Quality Control processes and upkeep Laboratory gas analysis and issuance of Certificate of Analysis. 
• To ensure all operations administration paperwork in accordance to ISO Procedures and Conditions. 
• Manage reporting of HE Tanker status.
• Manage recording of production weekly Stock Reports and monthly Stock Summaries. 
• Manage, planning and coordinating with Sales/Business team on new orders and projects. 
• Manage and monitor Weekly Available Quad List and Production Report.
• Manage and monitor Inspection Report for Off-hired quads, cylinders and all other distributing equipment.
• Manage and monitor list of Purchase Requisition required by Production Department and submit for approvals.
• Manage and ensure observation of QHSE procedures and Workplace Safety at all times. 
• As and when required, assist and relief duties of the Operations General Manager during his absence. 
• Manage and monitor production documents for ISO Audit.
• Ad-hoc projects and tasks, as and when required.
• Manage and supervise and safely complete the task assigned on time to time basis, in context to operations and safety of the plant, equipment and personnel. 
• As and when required to travel within Malaysia to visit clients and project sites and other company facilities for meetings, on the job training and projects as and when required.
• All other duties as assigned by Operations General Manager and Business Manager. 

Maintenance: 

• Manage and monitor inspection, reporting and managing of assets including keeping proper service record of all distribution, production and inhouse equipment maintenance according to ISO procedures.
• Manage and supervise handling of control cards, compressor run, Work Order (Production), Helium Tank files and all related distribution equipment. 
• Ensure proper filing of all production documents for easy traceability.
• Forklift driving (Heavy Forklift driving qualification is required for this task)
• Manage and general upkeep and maintenance of Skudai Facility, Johor.

Logistics:

• Management of receiving and checking of all incoming raw materials including cylinders, quads, Cryogenic tanks, assets and all related materials to the business.
• Management of deliveries and checking of all outgoing materials including cylinders, quads, Cryogenic tanks, lifting slings, all other assets and all related materials to the business. 
• Manage ad-hoc projects and tasks. (as and when required)

Safety:

• Manage and monitor work safety and to avoid any unsafe acts at all times: 
  • Ensure PPE practices of all personnel.
  • To ensure all equipment and machinery are switched on/off where appropriate at end of the day.
  • To ensure proper handover of work/task operationally.
  • To follow safe work practices.

Requirement:

• At lease 5 years experience in related field.

Job Purpose

As a focal point for HSE Drilling activities for JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration (Malaysia) Limited, which include to oversee the entire HSE related area, to work with contractors and to ensure operations compliance and statutory regulations.

Key Accountabilities

• To review/develop/finalize all required HSE documentations related to but not limited to Drilling activities, such as SIMOP, Bridging document, ERP, Oil spill response plan, Waste management plan, etc. to meet both Nippon and Petronas’s HSE standards. This preparation might involve with third party company for preparation.
• Preparing HSE report, monitor, tracking and records any activities on an operation site to ensure 100% compliance of JX Nippon HSE system.
• To monitor all HSE reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis, timely support to take action for any incident.
• To conduct a rig/vessel pre-hire HSE inspection, findings report and close out, to evaluate, work with the contractors on the HSE related matters and to ensure a full compliance with JX Nippon HSE system.
• To conduct regular HSE audit at the operation site and supply base. Follow up to close out all pending items.
• To initiate daily communication with the contractors; to be the leader of the incident/accident investigation and produce the report in timely and precise manner.
• To review and evaluate the HSE performance. Identify the area of improvement and recommendation.
• To summarize lesson learnt and to review/evaluate the total HSE performance of operation and to recommend any action for further optimization/improvement of HSE system.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in HSE or Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years experience in oil & gas industries with minimum five (5) years experiences in Drilling HSE specialist works.
• Minimum three (3) years experience on E&P operator 
• Documentation skills and experience of HSE document 
• Experince in preparing Oil Spill Response plan, Emergency Response Plan, SIMOP, HSE case and etc.
• Familiar with PETRONAS HSE-MS and Malaysian HSE Law and regulations.

Requirements
