Responsibilities:
- Support network and IT related tasks at office and customer’s site: Perform IT administrative tasks and software/hardware troubleshooting for common PC and IT-related issues.
- Act as SysAdmin for Windows Server: Manage and maintain Windows server systems.
- Administer and manage company’s Active Directory.
- Procurement on desktop, laptop and other IT related devices for office/customer use.
- Provide technical support for Clinical IT tasks: Plan and execute interfacing/middleware installation, work with Lab Information System (LIS)/Hospital Information System (HIS) vendors, hospital IT, and end users for interfacing/middleware installation, perform system test and UAT for interfacing/middleware, provide first-level support for LIS, attend customer calls for interfacing, PC, and hardware problems.
- Modify or adapt exiting software program for improvement and enhances purpose.
- Assist and provide solution for office inventory.
- Asist field service engineers in Preventive Maintenance especially on the maintenance of computer systems.
- Communicate and work with vendors to resolve any network or system linkage issues which direct/indirectly impacting the diagnostic devices at the field.
Requirements:
- Must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware troubleshooting, have a good basic understanding of networking and network security.
- Proficiency in Networking, Windows and Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook, Email Administration, NAS, Firewall, mySQL, JAVA, Python, PHP, and HTML
- Bonus skills: ASTME 1394-97, CLSI LISA2 and HL7, ESXI and Vsphere VM, and experience in handling Middleware, LIS or HIS.
- Candidate with 2-3 years of experience in IT related projects or in diagnostic labs are preferred, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Able to work in fast-paced environment independently.
- Demonstrate good skills in critical thinking, proactive in problem solving and creative in providing solutions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work on standby/on-call. Willing to work exceeding normal working hours when required.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel in short notice.
- Preferable minimum 1 year of working experience in hospital based or healthcare environment.

- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolution of end-user queries and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Provide 1st level and 2nd level technical support via phone, email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner
- Provide End-user IT hardware configuration, implementation, and documentation.
- Provide assistance in the IT related matters of on-boarding and off-boarding employees.
- Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted service level
- Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure
- Handle initial classification/prioritization of incidents reported
- The 1st and 2nd Level Remote Support is required to provide 1st level troubleshooting to users queries/incidents received
- Knowledge in Desktop / Server / Storage / Networking / Wireless / Cloud – Azure and AWS
- Will be rotate for weekly on-duty engineer after office hours, weekend and public holidays
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read & write well in English.
- Diploma / Degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering is desired
- Work experience (including internship) in Technical Support, Desktop Support, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments desired
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, SKYPE and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Tech savvy with familiarity in remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g. Teamview, Anydesk, Zendesk, BOLD 360, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
