The Audit Manager is responsible to Performing audits in the Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) region and be the data analytics champion.

You'll be responsible for:

• Audit managers are responsible for the planning and the execution of audits. They are also expected to lead closing meetings with auditees and senior management, including finalisation of audit report with management feedback.
• As managers, they are expected to lead and guide the audit team during audits and in the execution of projects relating to the regional harmonisation of the internal audit function.
• The role would also include defining and the roll-out of regional harmonisation initiatives (including the adoption of best practices), supporting Chief Audit Executive (CAEs) on audit-related questions, and performing quality assurance reviews on local audit teams and monitoring the development in the assigned operating entity (OEs).
• They are also expected to be in charge of the Regional Data Analytics projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; in a business discipline such as Information Technology, accounting, finance, management or in Actuarial Science.

  With relevant internal/external audit experience in the industry will also be considered.
• Relevant certifications, e.g., CIA, CISA, or CISSP would be an added advantage.
• The role includes approximately 20% travel within Asia Pacific. As such, other than English, fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa, or Thai will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• The IT Auditor is responsible for the planning and execution of audits in IT and Operational.
• The IT Auditor is expected to perform audits independently and ensure everything has been properly documented.

Programme Management

Project planning, develop value propositions and implement the development of DE Rantau programme:

• Plan and implement the programme, focusing on promoting and engaging active participation of the targeted communities and platforms/ digital service providers.

You will play an important role in:

• reviewing, assessing and evaluating governance, risk and control systems and processes.
• highlighting observations and recommending potential improvements to these systems and processes.
• assisting in pre-listing submission internal control review assignments.
• preparing audit schedules, workpapers, reports and other documentation pertaining to audit work.
• assisting in risk management facilitation assignments.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

• At least a bachelor’s degree with minimum of one-year work experience. Candidates with prior internal audit experience, CIA or CISA and/or have working knowledge of COSO or COBIT would be favourably considered.
• Good verbal and written skills in English. Ability to speak Mandarin or other Asian languages would be an added advantage.
• Ability to analyse data using analytical tools (such as Microsoft EXCEL, SQL, etc.) would be favourably considered.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, management principles, business and operational risk and control is an added advantage.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel as and when required.
