Job purpose

• The Assistant Production Planner Manager/Senior Production Planner will be responsible for the Planning Department including preparing the Production Plan & Schedule to meet the delivery of customer orders. 

Duties and responsibilities

• To ensure the Planning and Smooth running of the Production processes.
• Plan and prepare Production schedules to establish sequence and lead-time of final products shipment ETD meet as well as ensure inquiry order and PO respond in a timely matter set by management.
• Ensure timely, effective, and accurate communication with all relevant departments on any factors which will be affecting delivery schedule, commitment to customer and quality, etc.
• Monitor material availability, manpower, and production capacity for smooth production. Analyze material availability and production capacity to provide delivery schedule/date to Sales Team for all orders.
• To prepare and review with Production Team on daily meeting for Production schedule versus actual activities.
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and revise the schedules to meet unforeseen circumstances and provide feedback to the Sales Team with a recovery plan for any shipment misses. 
• Ensure planning processes are executed in a manner that is fully compliant with the Quality Management System and procedures.
• To compile and submit Planning Daily & Monthly reports to the management team.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time

Qualification/ Experience

• Computer literate, Bachelor's degree/diploma with a minimum of 5 years working experience in Production Planning in the manufacturing industry

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for incoming and outgoing of inventory from purchase requisition to production.
• Asist and monitor production and inventory management plans to support production.
• Conduct QA &QA.
• Assist internal purchasing inquiries and manage stock level until report in system.
• Follow and determine the potential product shortages, develop and execute recovery.
• Maintain and update master files [items, vendors, etc].
• Constant interaction with demand and assessment of demand requirements. Reflect changes in SKU level forecasts.

• Proven experience as inventory planner or similar position.

1. Responsible to support the QMS activities of ACSB.
2. Preparation of production plan covering both weekly and monthly plan.
