The incumbent will be based in Cyberjaya but will be a member of the budget and business planning team in Singapore and be responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly management reports (actual vs budget), assisting in monthly/quarterly/year-end close activities for project cost accruals.

Management Reporting

• Performing monthly allocation of cost across cost centres/lines of business post month-end closing

• You will review product submissions for completeness, quality and adherence to standards and add them to Salesforce while coordinating alignment with other functions to ensure set up and alignment in those systems.  This will require an understanding of Experian’s complex product and business hierarchies as well as similar products in other regions. 
• Performance of data audits, identification of data quality issues, responding to partner’s data questions requires attention to detail, problem solving skills, and data manipulation abilities.
• You will be responsible for measuring data quality improvements and revising, documenting, and formalizing data standards and processes on an ongoing basis. Once competency is established, you will be able to work with business partners to create processes to meet their product business needs participating in actions from clarifying the need, brainstorming solutions to implementation.

Responsible for end-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support.

Responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools.

Partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverable.

1) Good knowledge in Loan Origination system functionalities and interfaces to other banking systems.
2) Strong analytical / problem solving / process design skills
3) Strong negotiation skill and results-orientated.
4) Good in time management and able to multi-tasking.
5) Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6) Basic working experience with job scheduler, putty, database access, online and batch integration protocol.
7) Experience in Java, JIRA and confluence will be a plus

We’re currently looking for a FP&A Analyst to join the Global Finance Services Team based in Kuala Lumpur and report directly to Regional FP&A Manager and cover the scope for APAC market.

What you’ll be doing:

• Closely support APAC market in managing.
  • Monthly financials e.g. month end reporting and closed.
  • FP&A reporting requirements e.g. monthly cost forecasting & MMC
  • Annual budget submission
  • Financial control and governance
• Working closely with APAC markets Finance Directors and APAC Function Leaders to understand actual performance/fluctuation vs plan and future business plan.
• Preparation of the monthly reporting and forecasting information packs, working with the business to understand performance, current issues and trends covering P&L and monitoring key KPI’s
• In depth analysis on cost drivers, able to challenge status quo.
• Prepare various ad hoc financial analyses as required from time to time to support ongoing business decisions that relates to Revenue
• Promote best practice, and continue with business process improvements and re-engineering to drive efficiency and add value to the business
