This role is based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
As a Level 2 Hybrid Cloud Engineer, you will be dedicated to improving and supporting our managed services customer environments. The team provides expert support and works towards ensuring our customers experience improved reliability and security over time.
In this role, you will be part of an experienced cloud engineering team where you will be escalated by our service desk to resolve customer requests, respond to alerts, implement changes and proactively monitor customer cloud environments.
We are looking for someone with Azure base troubleshooting experience and who wants to further enhance their career deeper as a cloud engineer. The person
- Ability to work in a complex environment with customers and colleagues located across multiple sites
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM tools such as Service Now
- MUST be Willing to work on a 12 hour rotational shift (day & night) including weekends
Exposure and understanding of the following would be looked at favourably:
- Understanding of Azure components including:
- Tenant
- Subscription
- Resource Groups and resources
- VM
- Storage
- Tags
- Azure role-based access and Azure AD
Good to have skills but not mandatory:
- Microsoft Defender and Sentinel security
- Automated patching of Windows VM servers
- Apps and website Certificate renewals
- Az-900 or Az-104 certified
- Ensure Logicalis intranet architecture and UI reflects the strategy and users can search for what they need easily.
- Increase user adoption of global teams using the platform, supporting in the creation of new areas to share content.
Your experience
Required:
- Working on service requests to configure customer environments or provide information
- Investigate incidents and outages across the public cloud platform
- Respond to escalations and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner
- Monitor customer environments for trends and problems
- Develop proactive solutions that lead to a reduction in service ticket volumes while maintaining operational health and following appropriate change processes
- Maintain compliance targets for all customer environments
- Document solutions and knowledge in the Logicalis knowledge management system
- Hands-on experience in working on Azure based troubleshooting at L1 and/or L2 level.
