Role Summary:

Role will oversee all legal matters for the South East Asia Cluster and provide legal support to leadership team and business colleagues from both Care Enablement (CE) and Care Delivery (CD) as well as General Administration functions. The Legal Cluster Head will act as the country legal counsel for Malaysia and Indonesia.

Accountabilities:

• Provide strategic thinking and be a credible and effective legal partner for the South East Asia business and its business leaders to deliver Fresenius' objective
• Execute strategic agenda and business plans of the region across all its market, taking into account the broader geopolitical, commercial, legal, industry and regulatory nuances and framework.
• Manage and work in close partnership with a variety of stakeholders and counterparts including regulators and external counsels.
• Draft, review and negotiate key legal contracts to achieve business objectives, minimize risk and ensure compliance with Company's policies, laws and regulations.
• Monitor and support in corporate governance
• Provide legal support for M&A initiatives, if any
• Provide proactive and strategic and tactical legal advice and support in problem resolution, work as part of cross functional teams on projects and initiatives.
• Perform any other instruction given by manager to advance the interest of the business and collaborate with the rest of the Asia Pacific and Global legal teams on Fresenius' initiatives.

Competencies:

• At least 10 years post-qualification experience in Malaysia, preferably as leading law firm or in-house legal counsel in an MNC environment
• Experience working on matters at a regional level is a plus

• Strategic thinker, a proven credible and effective leader with ability to execute strategic agenda and business plans of the cluster countries across all its markets, taking into account the broader geopolitical, commercial, legal, industry and regulatory nuances and framework.

Responsibilities:

1. Prime dialyzer and bloodlines
2. Record patient’s medical information and vital signs
3. Make ready of dialysis equipment
4. Oversees dialysis treatment from start to finish
5. Cannulate accesses
6. Demonstrate the abilities to administer medications including thrombolytic
7. Identifies irregular dialysis reaction and notify to appropriate team members
8. To ensure blood investigations are carried out on schedule or as instructed by the doctor. All blood results to be charted and filed. Any abnormalities of the results should be notified to doctor immediately. 
9. To ensure patients’ medical files are updated at all times. All prescriptions and doctor’s notes are filed accordingly.
10. To inform the Staff  Nurse In Charge of any defective medical equipment, accidents and complaints. To hand over daily occurrence and status to the staff nurse of the next shift via the incident book.
11. To inform patients of their next treatment dates and to notify Staff Nurse In Charge of any changes in schedule.

Job Description

• To perform cold calling to follow up and verify the potential leads (data) from social media’s campaign (eg: Facebook) before generating to the Company’s existing consumers.
• To ensure the potential leads information are accurate before sending to the Company’s existing consumers.
• To develop positive relationship with the potential leads and existing consumers.
• To perform on-boarding process to new consumers, handle inbound calls from campaign’s referral and answer all the consumers’ enquiries when arises.

• To monitor and report campaign’s status, progress, and review to management weekly / monthly.
• To perform regularly follow up with the consumers on their campaign’s listing performance in our Company’s website and share latest campaign plan with consumers when needed.

• To assist oversea consumers in liaising with translation team for project information when necessary.

Job Qualification

• Preferably Degree in business marketing / business development / business admin or equivalent.
