• Conduct security investigations to provide guidance and oversight on incident resolution and containment techniques.

About the Job:

As our Product Security R&D Engineer you will work with closely the Product Security team to implement secure development methodologies for all Client Technologies, products and services on various operating systems based on embedded Windows & Linux platforms. The Product Security Programs are responsible to ensure products that shipped out by Client are compliance with government security standards and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Work with product development teams at the various stages of development lifecycle to implement product security requirements based on Clients Windows & Linux platforms. 
• Perform product security assessment using vulnerability management, penetration testing and fuzz testing tools and assist development teams in developing remediation and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and/or recommend/use third party vendors’ tool to evaluate the security posture of our product against established industry standards.
• Understand and implement the product security programs all Keysight’s product OS platforms. 
• Work closely with internal design teams to uncover and address strategic technology development and business development opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience with security technologies
   

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in software development using C/C++, java script & python programming languages.
• Good understanding of common application & network protocols, cryptographic technologies, common security threats found on common OS-designs, including Linux, Windows, mobile platforms.
