Job Responsibilities:

• Acting as the consultant's representative for the project.
• Responsible for the following up on instruction & commitments associated with the project.
• To make sure project adhere/comply to all government and industry standards and guidelines
• Supervise and monitor the works being carried out by Contractors.
• Study and check all drawing for discrepancies.
• Keep detailed record on site, and report to the Engineer on the progress report weekly.
• Assist the Engineer to verify the design of temporary works by the contractor against actual conditions on site and recommend modification to suit if necessary.
• Ensure the working procedure to comply with the relevant statutory requirement, agreed method and recommend modification to the procedure, if necessary, to solve the on-site problems.
• Give instruction to the contractor for any testing or investigation work.
• Ensure that the items in the defect lists are rectified when requires and carry out such further inspections as necessary to ensure that the work is completed accordingly.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings, design/technical meetings and meetings with statutory bodies as required and representing the company in all relevant meetings.
• Liaises with internal and external stakeholders including contractor and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities.
• Other duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate should possess minimum of Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic),Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication),Engineering (Mechanical),Engineering (Others)
• Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience in CQE related role.
• Preferably experience in PCB manufacturing, mechanical assembly and working experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Good written and verbal communication with superior and other people where deem applicable.
• Preferably with working knowledge of 8D, Problem solving tools , FMEA and SPC.
• Good communication skills in English and Malay language for both spoken and written. Knowledge in Chinese and Korean is an added advantage.

Job Description:

1. Build strong working relationships with customer and in-house development teams to ensure complete and transparent communication and support.
2. Coordinate activities to evaluate and resolve sometimes technically challenging engineering and quality-related issue encountered in assigned area of the customer’s facility.
3. Initiate containment of stock at all locations and prevent further substandard production.
4. Investigate the fault and extent of potential recall.
5. Evaluate findings to formulate corrective action plan and coordinate implementation through customer corrective report or 8D report.
6. Control clean cut-offs throughout and ensure containment is managed while on-going corrective actions are implemented.
7. Organize and manage any re-work of finished goods that may be necessary.
8. Assist with new product introduction, representing the customer and support and manage pre-production trial runs and first off sample approvals.
9. Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis and etc.
10. Participate in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEA’s (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and represent the customer’s views.
11. Manage and coordinate customer PPM (Parts per Million), cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators.
12. Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern the customer’s product.
13. Undertake special projects as required.
14. Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
15. Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to customer.
16. Achieve goals within budget.
17. Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic),Engineering (Mechanical),Engineering (Mechatronic / Electromechanical),Engineering (Others)

• Identify, diagnose and resolve manufacturing process related Issues
• Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step
• Lead and participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities
• Process setup to meet Critical to Quality Requirements, Cpk, Yield, and Quality targets
• Problem solving and work on the Root Cause Analysis/Finding using 5M + 1E, 5 whys, DMAIC, 8D approach/methodology
• Process FMEA and Risk Assessment on process window optimization (DOE)
• Establish and update process documentation as needed: SOP, WI, FMEA, OCAP and Control Plan for related process.

• Project Cum Energy Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Part of the project team to plan and execute various projects in FFM Group (based in
• Pulau Indah).
• Liaison and coordination works with external parties (authorities, consultants,
• suppliers and contractors) for the execution of projects.
• Feasibility study and design works during planning stage of projects.
• Technical and commercial evaluation of equipment/ services for projects.
• Checking of project documentation (eg. System drawings, tender documents and asbuilt drawings)
• Project supervision and monitoring (eg. schedule, budget and quality of works)
• Preparation of reports (eg. Proposals, progress report and defects rectification)
• Other relevant duties/responsibilities assigned by the Project lead or management.
• To observe and obey company rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent (Master's Degree is an advantage)
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related industry (projects related such
• as consultant/contractor is an advantage):

• Knowledge and understanding of the operating of AC motors (efficiency, inverters, soft-starters)
• Knowledge on electrical distribution (cable routing, selection and sizing of equipment/cables) for low voltage and high voltage
• Ability to understand, scrutinize and modify electrical single-line diagrams and MCC panels drawings
• Knowledge on automation, PLC controls and mechanical relay controls (programming ability is an advantage)
• Experience in liaison/ coordination with authorities pertaining to electrical matters (TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, ...etc)
• Knowledge on building services (M&E) (lightings, power points, fire alarms, elevators, etc) is an advantage.
