Overview

In order to support a successful global deployment of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, it is essential to create a global network of leaders and ambassadors who will lead the regional engagement and implementation of the system.

In the role of Finance Manager, you will work alongside the core programme team, Asia finance leads (Finance Director and Financial Controller) and the Operations team and be central to ensuring that the people, process and business elements of the transformation come together in delivery for the Asia region.

Your particular focus will be implementation of regional finance change management plan ensuring that the regional finance team are engaged with the process and assist in supporting the change.

Key responsibilities

Design Acceptance

• The steering group are ultimately signing off the design and solution, however regional engagement and consultation is an essential part of this.
• As the finance manager you will attend workshops & meetings related to the design process and assist the Asia finance leads in reviewing and accepting the design principles.

Communications & Engagement

• Support senior stakeholder engagement regarding the deployment.
• Support finance leads in the region to cascade key messages throughout the finance team.
• Ensure a wider engagement with finance users with support from the core team resources.

Data cleansing

• Each region will need to obtain assistance from the operational teams to ensure that the data transferring to the new system is fit for purpose.
• The role of the finance manager is to work with the operations lead to ensure that the local leadership and managers engage with the process and complete it in a timely manner.

Testing

• The testing work-stream is being led by the core team.
• In order to complete the testing process regional change champions will need to be trained in the system and be involved in running test scenarios to validate the system design and build.
• The role of the finance manager is to work with the operations lead to ensure that:
  • All regional change champions are trained to enable test scenarios to be run.
  • All test scenarios are completed in a timely fashion.

Training

• Training materials already exist but will need to be refined to meet any specific local processes.
• The role of the Finance Lead is to support the Operations Lead ensure that regional change champions are trained in such that they can lead local training and that the training is delivered to a plan. 
• At this stage it is envisaged end user training will be rolled out as follows:
  • Training of finance staff – classroom training
  • Training of Cost Centre Leaders – classroom training
  • Training of Time & Expense users – e-learning module – regionally managed led by the core team

Deployment

• As the system is deployed there will be inevitable disruption and issues that need attending to.  During this period the core team will be providing ‘hyper care’ ensuring that solutions to issues are developed rapidly.
• The role of the regional finance lead will be to support the Operations Lead in dealing with issues arising.

• Maintain all IT related inventory and software licensing control.

• Generate / maintain appropriate technical documentation, system manuals, workflow processes, procedures and guidelines.

• Evaluate and recommend IT related hardware and software solution.

• Supervise and work with vendors to ensure projects/tasks are implemented as per specification and on time.

• Review and plan resources such as provide estimation on man-days required base on total test cases, test scopes, complexity of test cases, determine total testers required and work with Tester Resource Manager for resource allocation for UAT.
• Ensure all project parties are aligned on the project plan by reviewing the Test Plan with Business SME, Business Tester, System Support Tester, IT System Analyst, and facilitate sign off.
• Ensure necessary system access are granted to testers for UAT so that testers are able to carry out UAT assignments within project timeline.
• Ensure availability of test environment and thereby test scope can be completed within project time frame.
• Monitor the progress of test case execution, pass rates, while coordinating defect fixes with IT System Analyst.
• Follow up and manage UAT defects/ errors reported in identified Defect Management Tool in a timely manner.
• Approve the UAT upon the verification and sign-off of UAT results by testers.
• Coordinate Post Deployment verification with Production users

Daily Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate effort estimation, timely updating of status and follow-up activities for tasks / project work.
• Weekly report to supervisor on works progress and issues. Ensure issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
• Consolidate gaps identified during UAT for follow up in a master list.
• Provide guidance and develop junior business analysts to enhance Business Analyst competency.

About the Role

• Administers and handles the Agency Contest R&Rs, Agency Compensation Handbook and other policy management related documents/publications to support the business requirements.
• Handles the fulfillment of the Agency Contest’s monetary (Payment Advise) and non-monetary fulfillment to ensure contest fulfilment is delivered to the qualifiers.

The Fraud Ops Analyst 2 is an intermediate level positions responsible for contributing to the development of fraud management policies, processes and procedures to minimize the impact of fraud in coordination with the Operations - Services team.
