ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and conceptualize visually appealing displays for windows and
  store interior.
• Work closely with the Operations, Marketing and Merchandising team to
  develop and execute merchandise presentation strategy.
• In-charge of VM props and material management which includes
  sourcing, ordering and inventory control.
• Lead, train and develop the team of Visual Merchandisers on-the-job.
• Maintain work schedules for VM team members and oversee their
  performance.
• Train and develop potential visual support team at outlets to maintain
  visual concepts and flex displays based on inventory.
• Responsible for the entire visual merchandising process for new retail
  stores including visual standards, fixture placement, floor setup, window
  display, fixture design and merchandising presentation concepts.
• Regularly assess and keep up-to-date with consumer and fashion trends
  in the prevailing market.
• Travel periodically outstation for store set-ups, opening and/or closures.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Degree/diploma in visual communications/graphic design/interior
  design/retail management or a related field;
• Proven solid work experience as a visual merchandiser;
  Design expertise with comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design
  work;
• Good fashion sense;
• Creative with keen eyes for aesthetic appeal;
• Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop,
  InDesign) or other visual design tools;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Oversees and manages the entire production timeline, from input to finished goods, to ensure smooth operations and optimal outcomes.
• Perform quality controls and monitor production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Manage the organization’s operational budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  Develop and execute production plan to meet customer demand and company goals.
• Create production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with procurement, customer service, planning and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and logistics arrangements.
• Prepare and analyse reports on production performance, including key performance indicators.
• Ensure monthly stock take activities and accurate records.
• Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team culture.
• Supervise and lead team members, and evaluate their performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least Bachelor Degree in any field.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Being capable of adjusting strategies or processes in response to dynamic business environments and unexpected changes.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 compliance requirements.
• Experience in rubber manufacturing will add advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• To maximize conference and banqueting revenue and profit through pro-active selling techniques and pricing strategy
• Respond to sales inquiries on timely manner from potential clients and customers seeking meeting space, annual dinner, conference, ceremony, food and beverage services.
• Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and goals
• Analyse business markets and design sales strategy & set goals to execute.
• Oversee sales and event department for daily operation and activities.
• Oversee event costing such as part timers recruitments, equipment for maintenance, meeting amenities and daily expenses in premises.
• Evaluate and improve sales and financial performance

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing / Business Administration / Hotel Management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related filed is required for this position.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Excellent convincing abilities, good communication skills, sales and negotiation skills
• A team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
