Your Job
As a Materials Manager, you will lead production planning and purchasing teams to ensure timely material availability and efficient execution of demand plans. You’ll provide strategic guidance, coaching, and serve as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders. This role is critical in driving best practices, continuous improvement, and alignment with PBM principles.

What You Will Do
Recruit and retain a qualified, motivated workforce aligned with PBM principles.Maintain accurate documentation of processes and job descriptions.Serve as the point of contact for escalations and participate in audits.Implement initiatives to reduce inventory and improve material flow.Monitor demand, backlog execution, and material coverage to meet customer requirements.Drive sourcing and purchasing strategies in collaboration with supervisors and sourcing managers.Lead and develop the production planning and purchasing team through coaching, feedback, and process standardization.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Fluent English (spoken and written).High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel.Strong problem-solving skills (5 Whys, Ishikawa, PDCA, Kaizen) and lean manufacturing knowledge.Proven ability in demand management, planning/purchasing, and leading teams in SMT and back-end environments.Significant experience in materials management and team leadership, typically demonstrated through progressive roles in planning and purchasing.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience with ECNs, PCNs, NPIs, and product engineering.Master’s degree in administration or APICS certifications.
