A fast-growing U.S.-based holding company that builds and scales modern consumer brands is seeking a Finance Controller to support its expanding portfolio. The organization operates at the intersection of eCommerce, operations, and finance, offering a dynamic environment and the opportunity to influence multiple brands’ financial performance.
The Finance Controller will manage key financial operations across several brands, including cash flow forecasting, AP/AR, payroll, revenue reconciliation, and reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys improving systems, solving discrepancies, and supporting multi-entity financial operations.

What You'll Do
- Cash Flow Management
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts for multiple brands.
- Consolidate all forecasts into a portfolio-level (HoldCo) view, including scenario modeling.
- Monitor forecast vs. actual performance and escalate cash risks proactively.
- Loans & Financing Administration
- Track loan balances, payments, covenants, and key compliance dates.
- Maintain a centralized repayment/refinance calendar.
- Assist with lender reporting packages as required.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Oversee AP intake, approval workflows, and payment scheduling.
- Reconcile vendor payments and customer collections.
- Manage outstanding AR, escalate overdue accounts, and support collections.
- Payroll & Employee Onboarding
- Manage onboarding in Gusto (payroll, benefits, compliance documents).
- Ensure payroll cycles run accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee compensation, reimbursements, and year-end tax documentation.
- Revenue & Payout Reconciliation
- Conduct monthly revenue sweeps across all brands and consolidate results.
- Reconcile payouts across wholesale, DTC, marketplaces (Shopify, Amazon), agencies, and creator payouts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between expected vs. received revenues.
- 3PL Audit & Verification
- Audit monthly 3PL invoices against shipment and receiving records.
- Flag discrepancies or overcharges, coordinating resolution with vendors.
- Reporting & Controls
- Prepare a monthly finance reporting package (cash, AR/AP aging, loans, reconciliations).
- Support variance analysis on budgets and financial performance.
- Help strengthen internal controls (e.g., approval processes, expense rules).
- Systems, Tools & Process Improvement
- Improve existing workflows and financial templates (AP/AR, revenue sweeps, cash flow).
- Support integration/migration of finance data into Notion or ClickUp dashboards.
- Collaborate with external accountants for audit-ready and tax-ready documentation.

What You Need
- Technical Must-Haves
- 1+ year of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
- Ability to independently prepare and consolidate multi-entity cash flow forecasts.
- Experience managing a P&L, ensuring accuracy, and reviewing budget vs. actuals.
- Strong reconciliation skills across DTC, wholesale, and marketplace payouts.
- Proven AP/AR experience, including collections management.
- Familiarity with payroll administration and employee onboarding (Gusto preferred).
- Operational Experience
- Experience working across multiple brands or entities.
- D2C finance background — Shopify, Amazon, or similar ecosystems.
- Ability to perform monthly 3PL invoice audits against shipping data.
- Experience in preparing complete monthly finance reporting packages.

- This is a full-time, long-term position.
- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.
