The
Continuous Improvement (OPEX) Manager has direct responsibility to lead continuous improvement projects and execute Lean process deployment to support the plant’s Lean cultural transformation. The role defines, designs, and implements process improvements as part of the
Operational Excellence (OPEX) framework and the Versigent Enterprise Operative System (EOS). Identifies mid- and long-term improvement opportunities aligned with business strategies and priorities. Ensures resources are assigned and properly trained. Facilitates and coaches improvement teams.
Your Role
- Leads plant efforts focused on the continuous improvement of site operating and financial performance (OPEX).
- Identifies improvement projects and ensures that plant leadership (at all levels) plans and executes continuous improvement activities.
- Follows up on improvement actions of each of the plant departments.
- Facilitates and coaches Kaizen events with the natural work teams in the plant.
- Trains and develops plant leaders in continuous improvement tools and Lean Manufacturing.
- Participates in the operational and financial planning process of the site.
- Provides Performance Monitoring guidelines.
- EOS knowledge.
- Ensures high-impact improvement projects and efforts are tracked through ECIP.
Your Background
- Leadership, planning, and executive presentations.
- Implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (OPEX).
- Manufacturing Engineering.
- Financial analysis.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of urgency
- Experience managing and leading teams (people under their supervision).
- Advanced English.
- Development or implementation with active participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
