Responsibilities
- Map out, construct, inspect, and troubleshoot web applications while keeping performance and stability as top priorities
- Bring forward new capabilities and enhancements that broaden what existing products are able to deliver
- Put together additional system building blocks and weave outside tools into the current platform to respond to changing business needs
- Adhere to agreed development standards while taking an active hand in reviewing fellow developers' code
- Position quality as the central concern across every stage of the software build process
- Perform in-depth checks throughout development to confirm delivered work matches required specifications and standards
- Dig into backlog tasks carefully during refinement conversations to achieve genuine clarity on project needs
- Contribute to reinforcing and maintaining the existing technical base to strengthen dependability and enable future growth
- Take part in rotating on-call coverage to address urgent matters and resolve them promptly
Requirements
- A minimum of two years actively building applications with .NET and C# in production settings
- Strong command of JavaScript coupled with real hands-on use of the jQuery library
- Proficient in both CSS and HTML for producing interfaces that look polished and adapt fluidly across screen sizes
- Substantial practical experience putting the ASP.NET MVC framework to work on genuine projects
- Well-honed communication skills, supported by a history of collaborating successfully within large, geographically spread teams
- Firm command of English, meeting or surpassing a B2 proficiency standard
Nice to have
- Previous exposure to ASP.NET WebForms, ideally including involvement converting WebForms projects toward MVC
- A working familiarity with Bootstrap that supports building layouts adaptable to mobile devices and varied screen dimensions
- Comfort working with relational databases, including drafting SQL statements to manage and extract data as required
- Practical exposure to LINQ for carrying out data queries and operations within .NET applications
