Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is:
On Site.
This role is contributing to the
Electrification Division in México.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Support the sourcing and selection of suppliers by evaluating quotations based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Create purchase orders and monitor their status to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and keep supplier information up to date.
- Assist in vendor negotiations regarding pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and planning teams to ensure supply continuity.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve issues related to delivery delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)
- You enjoy working with planning materials and the electrical market.
- You have basic knowledge on supply chain.
- You are passionate about demand fluctation, forecasting, supply chain.
- Active students from last 3 semesters from careers like International Business, Industrial Engineering or any Engineering field.
