Veta Virtual is hiring a Treasury Analyst for a high-growth client in the Fintech and Cryptocurrency industry. This is a high-impact finance role for a seasoned treasury professional who thrives managing global liquidity, cash positioning, and multi-currency operations at scale across international markets.
🔑 Your Role:
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will support the full scope of global treasury operations for a fintech and cryptocurrency platform operating across multiple countries. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Preparing daily cash positioning within the Treasury Management System — monitoring global liquidity and ensuring funds are available to meet operational needs at all times.
- Reconciling all cash-related accounts — bank accounts, cash in kiosks, and cash in transit — and delivering reconciliation reports to support the monthly close process.
- Managing domestic and international bank relationships — liaising with banking partners to obtain statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain an accurate global cash picture.
- Coordinating rolling cash forecasts — daily, 13-week, and 26-week — to support working capital planning and senior management decision-making.
- Monitoring fund disbursements and ensuring full compliance with internal procedures and International Accounting Standards.
- Preparing ad-hoc management reports on budget utilization, variances, and anomalies — with clear recommendations for review and action.
✅ What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of treasury analyst or equivalent finance experience — with a proven track record in complex, multi-currency cash operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or Finance — MBA strongly preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems, Accounting software, and database tools.
- Advanced Excel skills and proven experience building financial models — cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, and budget modeling.
- Deep understanding of International Accounting Standards and their practical application to treasury operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong written English, and a proactive, deadline-driven work ethic.
- Bonus: global multi-currency treasury experience; familiarity with cryptocurrency or digital asset operations; fintech or regulated financial services background.
- To be considered for this role, you must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
