Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for simulation of our optical quantum computer performance in various environmental conditions, particularly under vibration and temperature conditions. You will support the development and optimization of the quantum computer hardware and help resolve implementation issues observed on functioning hardware. While product development, your simulation expertise will occasionally be used to support focused problem resolution in Research.
- Numerical simulation of hardware performance under vibration and temperature conditions
- Work closely with the Mechanical Hardware team to define design strategy and evaluate performance improvement
- Collaborate internally with the Optics and Electrics Development team to replicate observed effects and provide insight into physical hardware challenges
- Collaborate internally with research teams to provide insight into physical hardware challenges
- Contribute to generation Intellectual Property protecting the position of the Company
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience using multiple Multiphysics Simulation software (e.g. ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus…).
- Experience simulating modal and harmonic acoustic performance
- Experience simulating steady state and transient thermal problem with air flow
- English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of contributing to product design with in-house development teams
- Ability to learn about a wide variety of hardware or new physics to resolve diverse problems
- Knowledge of simulation in other physics fields (e.g. structural, electromagnetic, coupled physics)
- Hands-on experience working in cross-functional, collaborative development environments
- Ability to engage in internal technical discussions in English
Salary
10 million JPY or more (Determined based on experience and skills)
Work Hours
Discretionary work system: Deemed as 8 hours per day.
