Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, planning, and supervising construction projects, focusing on structural integrity, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Technical Design & Analysis
- Prepare civil and structural drawings and calculations.
- Analyse structural systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Project Management, Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, authorities and other engineers.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related queries.
- Site Supervision
- Conduct inspections to monitor construction progress and workmanship.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Oversee safety practices and risk management on-site.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with clients to understand project requirements.
- Present technical solutions and updates to Client, stakeholders and project team.
- Support tender preparation and documentation.
Qualification & Experience:
- Min 5 years working experience as Civil Engineering and related experience, under property/ construction and development industry.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent. Professional Engineer (PE) status is an advantage.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Mertajam and willing to travel.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English
- Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong inter-personal skill in human relation.
- Problem-solving, analytical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication.
