About the role
DTE Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be the final touchpoint before our products reach the customer. You will be responsible for preparing, documenting, and dispatching outgoing shipments while ensuring all inventory records are kept up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify shipping documents such as packing lists and shipping labels.
- Perform quality checks to ensure goods match the documentation before sealing shipments; report any discrepancies immediately.
- Update ERP to reflect real-time shipping status and inventory levels.
- Investigate and resolve shipping errors, such as lost packages or damaged goods, in coordination with the customer service team.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse administration.
- Education: SPM, Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and familiarity with ERP is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Strong command of Malay and English; ability to communicate in Mandarin is a significant advantage for local vendor coordination.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure during peak shipping periods, and a high level of attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be able to work in Muar and be flexible with hours during high-volume shipping seasons.
