CNC Machine Setter

About the role

DTE Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking skilled CNC machine setter to join our team in Muar, Johor. This is a full-time position where you have to ensure CNC machines are properly configured for each production run.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure CNC machines are properly configured for each production run, adjusting tool offsets, workpiece clamping, and machine parameters to meet job requirements.
• Able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
• Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
• Optimize efficiency by scheduling and organizing production runs, coordinating with other departments to meet targets.
• Oversee quality control processes, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions to maintain high product standards.
• Guide and mentor machine operators, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
• Manage few CNC machines simultaneously, maximizing production capacity while maintaining quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an CNC machine setter, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficient with SolidWorks software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Salary will be based on qualification and experience.
