A DAY IN A LIFE
Security & Governance
- Drive cybersecurity posture across the organisation including access control, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
- Coordinate with internal audit and external assessors for compliance reviews and VAPT exercises
- Define and execute the ICT roadmap aligned to business goals
- Establish ICT policies, standards, and governance frameworks
- Own ICT budgeting, procurement, and cost optimisation
- Lead technology risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance (PDPA, ISO 27001, etc.)
Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure: networks, servers, cloud, telephony, and endpoints
- Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness
- Manage SLAs for internal systems uptime and incident response
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Own relationships with ICT vendors, MSPs, and service providers
- Review and negotiate ICT contracts, MSAs, and SOWs
- Collaborate with business units to translate operational needs into ICT solutions
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow an ICT team across support, infrastructure, and systems functions
- Set KPIs and drive a culture of continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:
- Dual-Domain Expertise (ICT + Tech Risk): 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IT Infrastructure/Operations, combined with 2+ years of direct responsibility over First Line of Defence (LOD1), IT Governance, or RCSA frameworks in a highly regulated environment.
- Technical Compliance Fluency: Proven experience implementing and auditing technical controls against global industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or ITIL) across modern cloud-heavy (AWS/Azure) environments.
- High-Pressure Execution & Stakeholder Management: A track record of staying calm and decisive during critical system outages, paired with the communication skills needed to confidently manage audit pushback and influence engineering teams to adopt "secure-by-design" practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or high-growth tech companies
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, or cloud certifications (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent)
