Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential clients within the event and exhibition industry.
- Acquire sales enquiries and leads through cold calling, follow-ups, and outbound outreach.
- Source leads via multiple channels including but not limited to referrals, walk-ins, networking events, exhibitions, social media, email outreach, and inbound enquiries.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to support repeat business.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and basic presentations based on client requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, leads, and proposals to support deal closure.
- Assist in negotiating commercial terms under guidance from management.
- Maintain and update sales records, client databases, and lead tracking tools.
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth handover from sales to setup after deal closure.
- Track sales activities, pipeline status, and basic performance reports.
- Representing the company at exhibitions, events, and client meetings when required.
- Support basic marketing activities such as social media updates, portfolio coordination, and outreach campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in sales and marketing, specifically within the event and exhibitions market.
- In-depth knowledge of the event and exhibitions industry, including market trends, key players, and emerging opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and marketing tools for lead management and campaign tracking.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
